  The ISL Mission: 

To utilize a multifaceted, ecological, mental, physical and spiritual approach to increase community mobilization, advocacy and self-direction of vulnerable populations toward comprehensive health and wellness.

ISL accomplishes its mission by implementing research-based, theoretically sound behavioral interventions, health and wellness program strategies, training curricula and collaborative frameworks.

Utilizing the advantage of being a family-owned and operated business, ISL utilizes a single-focused, no- nonsense approach to shape and create  culturally-adept programming designed to improve health status among target populations through our Client-Partners, including: faith-based, corporate, and private organizations. governmental agencies and academic institutions.

ORIGINS

The Institute for Successful Leadership was founded in 1996 by Dorothy Triplett, M.Ed. after an accomplished career at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  Committed to the principle that she could continue to positively affect the health status of vulnerable populations from private industry, ISL was opened for business.

Partnering with daughters Tralonda Triplett, MPH, [Ph.D.] and Tremene Triplett, MA, the Triplett family trio has developed and implemented holistic health programming for nearly two decades in diverse public and private arenas. 

ISL Consultants utilize over 50 years of uniquely combined expertise, experience and commitment to develop health promotion/disease prevention programming, training and social marketing strategies that addresses ecological approaches to reduce group and individual level risks.  This approach has proven successful at local, state, national and international levels for improving the qualities of life and health status of communities.
